Who we are

This website, ideatobusiness.ie, is run by Erik Nemeth, trading as Your Idea to Ready Business, in Ireland. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at contact@ideatobusiness.ie.

What we collect

When you use our contact form we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number (optional), what you need help with and your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your email.

Like most websites, our web server may keep basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running properly.

Why we use it and our legal basis

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask for one, prepare a mock-up or quote. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
• To keep the website secure and working. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe website.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We only share your data with service providers we need to run the business, such as our website hosting company and our email provider, who process it on our behalf. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request. If you don’t become a client, we delete enquiry emails within 24 months. If you do become a client, we keep records for as long as needed for the work and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress may set essential cookies, for example if you log in or leave a comment, and our contact form may use temporary technical data to protect against spam.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email contact@ideatobusiness.ie. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
